Stressed is Desserts Spelled Backwards

Have you ever experienced arriving home very frustrated, tired and agitated? This is when you feel that you have so much burden in your life and just want to lie down to bed and forget everything. My friend, you are stressed.

Britannica Dictionary defines stress as a specific response by the body to a stimulus, as fear or pain, that disturbs or interferes with the normal physiological equilibrium of an organism. This is a topic that requires a very lengthy discussion. To cut it short, in a nutshell, stress is:


People cannot simply avoid it.

Desserts on the other hand represent the end of every meal. These simple treats tent to extend the satisfaction or happiness every time we eat. In other words, by adding desserts as finishing touches, our meals become more pleasurable.

Try this experiment, whenever you are stressed, try to have a simple dessert or a treat. This will help you relax and feel better. This will put a smile on your face. As an anonymous writer would say, stressed is dessert spelled backwards, this is not a coincidence.
